The Medical Center at Franklin Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation is a specialized program for individuals living with heart disease or chronic lung disease. Our rehabilitation and wellness services can help you control the impact of your disease by helping you make changes in your diet, exercise and lifestyle habits.
Cardiac Rehabilitation can help individuals with heart disease or a family history of heart disease, congestive heart failure, those recovering from a heart attack, and those who have had open heart surgery, angioplasty or stent placement. Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation program helps individuals with chronic lung disease such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, cystic fibrosis or emphysema.
Our monitored program combines exercise, education and support to help heart disease patients return to an active lifestyle or to help pulmonary disease patients meet the day-to-day challenges of living with chronic lung disease. Our goals are to help increase your level of physical activity and functioning, decrease symptoms and complications, reduce future hospitalizations, and increase your knowledge of how to effectively manage your disease.
